Emirates Old Trafford Welcomes Hilton Garden Inn
The crowning glory of Emirates Old Trafford’s redevelopment will be completed in the summer of 2017 when a brand new 150-bedroom four star Hilton Garden Inn opens its doors at the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club.
The hotel, which will be operated by LCCC under a franchise arrangement with Hilton Garden Inn, will replace the Old Trafford Lodge which has served the Club so well since its opening in 1999.
There will be five floors with rooms overlooking the world famous cricket pitch which can be converted to hospitality boxes on matchdays. There will also be a bar, restaurant, fitness centre and a branded coffee shop.
Lancashire chairman Michael Cairns said: “We are delighted to be working with Hilton Worldwide in this franchise agreement.
“The Old Trafford Lodge has been a great asset to Lancashire County Cricket Club. However, due to the growth in our conference and events business at Emirates Old Trafford the time has now come to capitalise on the value and suitability of our location and to construct a high quality branded 150-room hotel which will complement our stunning venue.
“This is another example of a global, world class brand partnering with Lancashire County Cricket Club following our naming rights agreement with Emirates - and we look forward to a hugely successful future together.”
