Hotel General Manager

Hotel General Manager
Competitive Salary, Benefits & Commission

Emirates Old Trafford the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club is an award winning venue. With growth of our conference and events business by 50% over the past two years, the time has now come to capitalise on the value and suitability of our location and construct a high quality branded hotel which will complement our stunning venue.

In the summer of 2017 a brand new 150 bedroom four star Hilton Garden Inn Hotel will open its doors. The hotel will have five floors with rooms overlooking the world famous cricket pitch, some of which can also be converted to hospitality boxes on match days. There will also be a bar, restaurant, gym and coffee shop.

The hotel will be very much an integral part of this multi-purpose venue, not a stand-alone property and will be closely linked with business activity taking place at the venue from a conference & events to hosting Lancashire County Cricket Club home games and International matches and concerts for up to 50,000 people.

Your role will be to manage and direct the hotel operation, driving sales and hotel revenue through strategic and financial planning. Effective personnel management to ensure the hotel meets and exceeds the guest’s expectations, to maintain quality and maximise profits for the Club.

Your first job will be to ensure the successful opening of the hotel, playing a key role as part of the pre-opening operation team.

This is a great opportunity and challenge for an experienced, passionate and proactive Hotelier.
