Parry then dismissed Elstone before Alex Hughes and Ben Slater stabilised the innings for Derbyshire.

Lester trapped Slater (34) LBW and then Clark took the key wicket of Hughes (46) and the hosts' innings collapsed from 76/4 to 119/9 with Mahmood striking again.

Mahmood (3/19) impressed alongside Clark (2/21) and Lester (2/8).

Brown (21) and Jones (29) came in and played fluently for Lancashire with Danny Lamb (16*) playing a cameo innings at the end as the Red Rose posted 152/4 off 20 overs.

In reply, Lancashire again made the perfect start taking early wickets and despite Durston (27) and Cork (25) providing some resistance, Derbyshire were well short in the end.

Danny Lamb (4/23) starred with the ball whilst Clark (2/21), Nathan Buck (2/25) also took two wickets apiece.

Derbyshire were bowled out for 120 and Lancashire won the second game by 32 runs.
