Lancashire Second XI and Derbyshire drew their rain affected three-day friendly at the 3aaa County Ground.
Toby Lester starred on Day Two taking six wickets. Derbyshire won the toss and elected to bat first but they soon found themselves in trouble as Lester took three wickets in the opening 15 overs of the day to leave the hosts 38/3.
It didn't get any better for the home side as they were bowled out for 138 with Lester (6/27), Luis Reece (3/33) and Dan Houghton (1/28) taking the wickets.
In reply, Lancashire lost two early wickets with Karl Brown and Luis Reece falling cheaply but Chris Laker and Josh Bohannon played nicely in the final session of the day before the latter was dismissed with just a couple of overs left in the day as Lancashire closed on 139/1.
Lancashire went on to post 289/8 with Laker (66) and Bohannon (61) top scoring for Mark Chilton's side before Derbyshire closed on 113/1.
