Lancashire Second XI claimed a seven wicket win over Scotland A in a three-day friendly at Blackpool CC last week.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, the visitors made the worst possible start losing two early wickets with Toby Lester taking two wickets in three balls to leave Scotland 8/2.
Kyle Coetzer (50) and George Munsey (66) rebuilt the Scotland innings but both were dismissed shortly after reaching half centuries.
Scotland were bowled out for 214 on the opening day with Arron Lilley (5/40) and Lester (4/41) impressing with the ball.
In Lancashire's first innings, Luis Reece (47) anchored the innings but wickets fell around him as the hosts declared on 135/5.
Scotland, with a lead of 79 going into the second innings, again lost early wickets with Lester, Bailey and Dan Houghton all striking in the opening overs as Scotland were reduced to 28/4 in just the eighth over. English (37*) and Watt (37*) gave their innings some impetus as the visiting side declared on 146/6 on the final day.
Lancashire, set a target of 226 to win, started poorly with Chris Laker (4) losing his wicket but Reece (47) and Karl Brown (35) stabilised the innings before both batsmen were dismissed to Watt with the Red Rose on 103/3.
Rob Jones (62*) and Brooke Guest (75*) then took the game away from Scotland with both players playing positively from the outset. Both batsmen went past their half centuries and helped Lancashire secure a comfortable seven wicket win at Blackpool CC.
