Lancashire Second XI dominated the second day of the three-day Championship clash against Yorkshire at Todmorden CC.
The visitors resume on 239/3 but Josh Bohannon (28) and Danny Lamb (8) fell in quick succession to leave Lancashire 262/5.
Rob Jones continued his good form and was joined by Stephen Parry who played positively from the outset. Jones (81) was bowled by fast bowler Wainman and Arron Lilley (27) came to the crease and hit three sixes in quick time.
The Lancashire spinner Stephen Parry hit seven boundaries and was unbeaten on 43 off 33 balls as Mark Chilton's side declared on 355/7.
In reply, Yorkshire made the worst possible start and lost three quick wickets with Nathan Buck striking twice and Toby Lester once as the hosts were reduced to 13/3.
Waite (35) and Thompson (31) put up some resistance for Yorkshire before Saqib Mahmood and Stephen Parry took their first wickets of the day.
Yorkshire collapsed to 124 all out from 46 overs with Parry (3/14) and Mahmood (3/24) the pick of the bowling attack.
In Lancashire's second innings, the visitors made a solid start with Luis Reece (26) and Calum Turner (24) putting on 53 for the first wicket. Brooke Guest (48) and Rob Jones (45*) came to the crease and played aggressively as the visitors closed the day 148/3, with a lead of 379 going into the final day.
