The Lancashire Second XI completed a comfortable seven wicket win over Yorkshire to complete back-to-back wins over our Roses rivals this week.
The game was reduced to 33 overs per side due to the morning rain, but Lancashire won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Yorkshire made a solid start with Gibson and Callis putting on 54 for the opening wicket before George Edwards dismissed the former.
Arron Lilley took his first wicket of the day dismissing Callis before Edwards struck again to leave Yorkshire 83/3.
The Yorkshire innings collapsed and the visitors were bowled out for 159. Lilley (4/24) and Edwards (3/34) both impressed with the ball.
Lancashire's reply started with an first wicket partnership of 40 between Luis Reece and Calum Turner (44).
Reece (15) was dismissed which brought Brooke Guest to the crease and he took the game away from Yorkshire as he hit his maiden half century for Lancashire Second XI. Guest hit an unbeaten 65 which included five boundaries and one maximum and Lancashire cruised to the target of 160 with just three wickets lost.
