Anderson named top bowler in Test Cricket

Lancashire County Cricket Club and England's James Anderson has become the world's number one bowler in Test Cricket for the second time after Yasir Shah took first place following England's First Investec Test Match defeat.

The Burnley-born bowler has now taken 463 Test wickets and Anderson is the fourth England bowler to top the Test rankings after Ian Botham in 1980 and Steve Harmison in 2004, adding to his illustrious England career.

England team-mate Stuart Broad has slipped to fourth place, behind Ravichandran Ashwin and Dale Steyn.
