Batsman Brown Launches LCCC Club Membership At Local Club
LANCASHIRE OPENING batsman Karl Brown visited his local cricket club Leigh CC last week to help launch the county’s Club Lancashire Membership in conjunction with the Lancashire Cricket Board (LCB).
The Membership provides some incredible benefits for LCB affiliated clubs including the ability to earn commission on international tickets sold which can be spent on refurbishment, ground improvements or cricket equipment for the club.
The Membership will also give the club an opportunity to enjoy the experience of one of Emirates Old Trafford’s hospitality boxes during a Specsavers County Championship match, subject to availability, as well as the chance to access tickets for international and domestic matches in 2016.
Lancashire’s Chief Executive Daniel Gidney said: “This is an exciting opportunity for cricket clubs within our region to enhance their relationship with Lancashire County Cricket Club.
“2016 promises to be an exciting season at Emirates Old Trafford and we would like as many clubs as possible to join our Club Lancashire Membership to be a part of it.”
Paul Bryson LCB Clubs & League Manager said: “The Club Lancashire Membership is a fantastic new development creating an opportunity for our local clubs and another example of Lancashire County Cricket Club and the Lancashire Cricket Board working together.
“The package gives clubs the opportunity to raise money through ticket sales, the chance to reward club volunteers and thank club sponsors, as well as encouraging both LCCC and England fans to watch more games at Emirates Old Trafford.”
Available to all LCB affiliated clubs with a junior section, the Club Lancashire Membership aims to provide local clubs with the opportunity to develop their ground facilities whilst enabling local communities the chance to see live cricket at the home of the Red Rose.
