Stuart Broad - five wickets for one run, 3rd Test Match in Johannesburg

England’s fast bowler Stuart Broad played a major part in the Three Lions memorable Test series victory over South Africa earlier this year, most notably with his 5 wickets for just 1 run on day three of the Third Test at Johannesburg on 16th January.

South Africa who were looking to secure a victory to level the series, headed into their second innings trailing England by 10 runs - but things went from bad to worse for the Proteas who were just 23 runs into their second innings when Stuart Broad produced a stunning bowling display to dismiss Dean Elgar, Stiaan van Zyl, AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla and Temba Bavuma for just one run.

James Taylor - Stunning Catch, 3rd Test Match in Johannesburg

During England’s solid bowling performance on Day Three of the Third Test Match in Johannesburg, Former England and Nottinghamshire player James Taylor produced an outstanding catch at short leg to dismiss Hashim Amla.

The dismissal was one of many fine catches form James Taylor during the tour, but this one has to top the list due to the incredible reflexes from the former England man.

Ben Stokes – 2nd fastest 200, 2nd Test in Cape Town

Fresh off their victory in the First Test in Durban against South Africa, England were looking to take another step closer towards a series victory with another solid batting performance in Cape Town...and Ben Stokes was the man for the occasion.

On his way to securing a record breaking 258 for England against South Africa, Ben Stokes also scored the second fastest 200 runs in Test cricket (behind New Zealand batsman NJ Astle) and was England’s stand out batsman on day two to held the Three Lions score a runs total of 629.

Jos Buttler – 73 ball century, 1st ODI in Bloemfontein

After a 2-1 Test series win over South Africa, England turned their attention towards the One-Day format of the game with the first ODI at Bloemfontein.

The result saw England take another early advantage in the series, but it was Lancashire and England wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler who took much of the recognition with a 73 ball century – outlining his stature as a top international cricketer.

Ben Stokes – Incredible catch, 1st ODI in Bloemfontein

A second entry for the England and Durham batsman.

During the first ODI in Bloemfontein, Ben Stokes produced an absolutely sensational catch to dismiss the fearsome AB de Villiers to help seal a victory for the Three Lions.

After reaching his half century during England’s innings, Ben Stokes produced a catching master-class at wide long-on to dismiss one of the most feared players in world cricket which arguably helped England seal a memorable victory against a strong South Africa side.
