Lancashire Thunder in action on Friday at Emirates Old Trafford

Lancashire Thunder will take on Loughborough Lightning in a warm-up match at Emirates Old Trafford (1pm) on Friday as they prepare for their inaugural league campaign which gets underway on Sunday against Western Storm.

The fixture will take place ahead of Lancashire Lightning's final NatWest T20 Blast fixture against Birmingham Bears which starts at 6:30pm.

Entry to the Lancashire Thunder game is included for Lancashire Members.

England internationals Kate Cross and Danni Wyatt as well as overseas players Hayley Matthews, Amy Satterthwaite and Deadre Dottin will all be involved.

Supporters who purchase tickets for the Birmingham Bears fixture, which gets underway at 6:30pm, will receive free access to the Thunder fixture.

The Club will put on a vast range of activities in its renowned Fan Village for this fixture and are encouraging supporters to watch both games.

Lancashire’s Chief Executive Daniel Gidney said: “We really want our supporters to get behind Lancashire Thunder this year and we are delighted to be hosting their first warm-up match before the NatWest T20 Blast fixture against Birmingham Bears.
