Paul Allott on Vilas and Chanderpaul signings

Following the news last week that South African Dane Vilas and West Indian Shivnarine Chanderpaul has both signed for Lancashire ahead of the new season, we caught up with former Lancashire CCC and England cricketer Paul Allott to talk about our two new signings.

Yorkshire Tickets on Sale and Selling Fast!

Tickets for the biggest fixture in domestic cricket, the NatWest T20 Blast clash between Lancashire Lightning v Yorkshire Vikings, only went on sale on Wednesday but over 6,000 tickets have already been snapped up for what has been our fastest on sale period to date.

The Lancashire Lightning v Yorkshire Vikings is always the most talked about fixture on the domestic cricket calendar and has sold-out at Emirates Old Trafford over the past three years, but this season we expect a record sell-out time with plenty of interest surrounding this historic fixture.

Haseeb Hameed and Liam Livingstone: In the nets

Watch as the Lancashire duo of Haseeb Hameed and Liam Livingstone have their final net session at Emirates Old Trafford before the pair join up fly out to Sri Lanka with the England Lions.

Hameed said ahead of joining up with the Lions, "I can't wait to get out there now. It was obviously really frustrating to leave the England lads in India before Christmas so I'm already raring to get going. I just want to score runs in an England shirt."

Livingstone said, "I'm looking forward to flying out to Sri Lanka now. It's always a great opportunity to show what I can do with the England Lions and to play with guys who at a similar stage to you."

Lancashire Thunder 2017 fixtures

Lancashire Thunder will make history later this summer as they play in two of the first ever televised domestic women's matches in this country after the ECB finalised the 2017 Kia Super League fixtures.

ECB and Sky Sports have confirmed the fixtures for the second season of the Kia Super League and Lancashire Thunder open with a mouth-watering trip to Headingley to face the Yorkshire Diamonds on Friday 11th August in a game that precedes the NatWest T20 Blast clash as Lancashire Lightning take on Yorkshire Vikings.

LCCC Foundation Pre-Season Dinner

The Lancashire County Cricket Club Foundation will be hosting their first event of 2017 on Thursday 30 March to help raise money for projects in the community including the work supporting youngsters and disabled groups.

The LCCC Foundation is the charity arm of Lancashire County Cricket Club and aims to provide people with positive experiences through the delivery of a range of health, education, community cohesion and cricket development projects, programmes and events designed to inspire communities through cricket.
