Reece hits century for Second XI on Day Two

Luis Reece hit a century on Day Two of Lancashire Second XI's four day friendly clash against Middlesex at Radlett Cricket Club.

In Lancashire's first innings, Reece (62) was the mainstay of the innings whilst Stephen Parry (32) and Toby Lester (17) made important contributions in the lower order as the visitors were bowled out for 215.

In reply, Middlesex made the worst possible start as Danny Lamb (4/33) took four early wickets leaving the hosts in trouble on 34/5.

Sowter (64) and Bruce (21) provided some resistance but Middlesex were bowled out for 155.

In Lancashire's second innings, Karl Brown fell cheaply but Luis Reece again impressed for Mark Chilton's side hitting a century as the Red Rose closed Day Two on 231/6, a lead of 291 going into the third day.

SCORECARD

Roy

I think that you will find that Toby Lester was 12th man at Old Trafford - Mahmood was at Radlett scoring 17 in first innings.
