Trafford turns 43: The changing face of Emirates Old Trafford

As Trafford Borough turned 43, we take a look back at how our stadium has changed to become one of the leading cricket grounds in the world, following our multi-million pound redevelopment.

Last Saturday marked 43 years since the formation of Trafford which has seen numerous changes across the borough. But perhaps none as impressive as Emirates Old Trafford’s transformation into a world renowned sports venue and one which England and Lancashire CCC legend James Anderson states is “…a real special Test ground and is somewhere all the England lads want to play.”

Take a look at how our stadium has transformed since 1974.
