Second XI bat out final day to secure draw
Second XI Report
An unbeaten 65 from Luke Procter guided Lancashire Second XI to a draw at Scarborough against Yorkshire.
Yorkshire resumed the final day 463/6 and the hosts continued to pile on the runs. Toby Lester took the opening wicket of the day dismissing Read before Simon Kerrigan bowled Joshua Shaw.
The white rose county declared on 585/8.
Lancashire made a nightmare start to their second innings as Karl Brown, Calum Turner and Rob Jones all fell cheaply to leave the visitors 32/3.
Brooke Guest joined Procter at the crease but the former was dismissed 35 runs later, bowled by Tattersall.
Procter played sensibly alongside Danny Lamb and the pair brought up their 50 partnership.
Procter, and then Lamb went to their half centuries before the latter was dismissed, shortly followed by George Lavelle to leave Lancashire 169/6.
Arron Lilley (20*) and Procter (65*) batted out the rest of the day as Lancashire secured a draw at Scarborough.
