The 22 year-old has made a blistering start to the season for Lancashire in the opening month of the season, hitting two centuries in the opening three games. Davies hit his maiden First Class century against Essex at Chelmsford before hitting another ton two weeks later at Emirates Old Trafford in Lancashire’s win over Somerset. The wicket keeper batsman, who was injured for the majority of last season with a knee injury, has also contributed with 84 runs in the opening two Royal London fixtures of the season against Leicestershire and Yorkshire.
Liam Livingstone has made another impressive start to the season, following on from a stunning winter with the England Lions. The 23 year-old has stepped in as Lancashire Captain following an injury to Steven Croft in the opening game of the season and was followed by being awarded his County Cap after the win over Somerset. Livingstone hit a career-best 164 in the second innings as Lancashire completed a stunning turnaround to beat Somerset at Emirates Old Trafford.
Lancashire’s overseas signing for the 2017 season has settled in straight away at Emirates Old Trafford and has already made telling contributions to the side, particularly with the ball. McLaren has taken 16 wickets in six games in all competition. The former South Africa international has also chipped in with the bat, hitting an important 45 in Lancashire's second innings against Somerset.
The hard hitting all-rounder has made an impressive start to the season. Clark arrived at the crease on the opening day against Surrey at the Kia Oval with Lancashire 67/5 and the Cumbrian-born all-rounder, alongside the experienced Shiv Chanderpaul led the Lancashire fightback. Clark went on to hit a stunning 140, his maiden First Class hundred and brought three figures up with a maximum off Sam Curran. Clark has also impressed with the ball taking 11 wickets in all competitions.
