Lancashire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce that Steven Mullaney and current Scholarship player Stephen Parry have signed one-year contracts with the Club.
Mullaney (pictured right) first joined the Lancashire ranks in 2003 as part of the original Academy intake which also included Steven Croft, Tom Smith and Karl Brown; and made his first team debut in 2006 against Worcestershire in the then C&G Trophy. This new one-year contract will see Steven remain at the Club until the end of the 2008 season.
Left-arm spinner Stephen Parry (left) has been rewarded for an excellent season for both Lancashire’s Second XI and his club side Bootle, signing his first Professional Contract.
Both Mullaney and Parry left for Melbourne (Australia) earlier this month to play in the very strong club competition to develop their game further in readiness for the 2008 season.
Cricket Manager Mike Watkinson has also confirmed the following players have signed Contract Extensions which will see them remain at Lancashire until the end of the 2009 season; Mark Chilton, Gary Keedy, Luke Sutton, Gareth Cross, Steven Croft, Tom Smith, and Karl Brown.
