The 2009 season will draw to a close on 27th September as Lancashire play Warwickshire in the NatWest Pro40 League (12.45pm start).
The fixture will be a chance for the Lightning to round off the successful 2009 one-day campaign which has so far seen a Friends Provident Trophy semi-final and a Twenty20 Cup quarter final.
The season and the NatWest Pro40 League will reach a conclusion with a match against Warwickshire Bears on Sunday 27th September (12.45pm start). The atmosphere at Old Trafford will be electric after 4,000 tickets were snapped up by fans taking advantage of Lancashire’s 25p offer.
This limited number of tickets was sold at 1969 prices to reflect the 40th anniversary of 40 over cricket. It is a format that Lancashire players have always enjoyed, with the Red Rose winning the title 5 times, including the inaugural ‘John Player League’ in 1969.
Tickets for the match are still available at the Old Trafford ticket office, with advance prices of £10 for adults and £5 for juniors under 16 and senior citizens.
