No horsing about on Thwaites Brewery tour

To mark its new 3-year major sponsorship of Lancashire CCC, Daniel Thwaites treated the Club's professional squad and backroom staff to an exclusive VIP tour of its historic Blackburn Brewery.

The day enabled the squad to get an insight into the workings of the Brewery and during the tour the players were able to try their hand at mixing and testing, tipping in the hops, as well as sampling the product. The team also got to meet the famous Daniel Thwaites Shire horses, with Glen Chapple and James Anderson giving the horses a refreshing pint of ale (see photos below).

We are a very proud Lancashire company and our relationship with the Cricket Club is core to what we do in the local area. I really think they enjoyed the day and I am looking forward to sharing in their success this season.”

Glen Chapple, Club Captain said “It was great to see behind the scenes at the Brewery and meet the people who work at here. The Club has a really strong relationship with the Daniel Thwaites and we are really grateful for their ongoing support. We are all very proud to be wearing such a great Lancashire name on our shirts we when go out to play.”
