STEPHEN MOORE will miss the rest of the season after suffering a shoulder injury.
The opening batsman dislocated his right shoulder while fielding at Chelmsford during the Friends Provident t20 game against Essex Eagles on Tuesday evening.
After seeing a specialist it was determined that the 29 year-old will require surgery on his shoulder and as such has been ruled out for the rest of the campaign.
Head Coach Peter Moores said: “It is a big disappointment for Stephen and for the club as we approach the Championship run-in.
“We wish him well in his recovery.”
