Notts start for Lancs in 2014

Lancashire start their 150th year with a trip to Trent Bridge to play Nottinghamshire when the 2014 season gets under way on April 6th.

Our first home match will be an LV= County Championship match against Warwickshire at Emirates Old Trafford on 20-23 April.

There are five 'Roses' encounters against Yorkshire next year with at least one match in each competition. The first clash is at Headingley in the LV= County Championship on 25-28 May, with the return 4-day fixture at Emirates Old Trafford also our penultimate home game on 31 August-3 September.

Emirates Old Trafford hosts the first one-day 'Roses' game on Friday 6 June in the new NatWest T20 Blast, with the Royal London One-Day Cup clash taking place the following month on Saturday 26 July.

The season ends with a LV = Championship match against another county celebrating their 150th anniversary, Middlesex, on 23-26 September at Emirates Old Trafford.

All Lancashire's home games in one-day cricket will be floodlit, with standardised start times for each competition:-

  • NatWest T20 Blast games start at 6.30pm
  • Royal London One-Day Cup games start at 2pm and are day/night games.

The LV= County Championship has a new-style schedule with the 13 of the 16 fixtures starting on a Sunday (11am).
