Bus
Route 47 from Lord Street in Southport to Liverpool Road/Crescent Road junction in Birkdale, then 10 min walk to ground.
Route 48 from Lord Street in Southport to Gainsborough Road in Birkdale, then 3 min walk to ground. [Route 47/48 timetable]

Rail
Mainline services go to Southport station [Click here for National Rail Enquiries].
Change at Southport for the Merseyrail service to Birkdale station (first stop).

From Liverpool take the Merseyrail Northern line service for Southport, alighting at either Hillside or Birkdale, both stations are roughly the same distance from the ground [Click here for Merseyrail service details]

Birkdale station is 0.5 miles away from the ground. Walk along Grosvenor Road and turn left on to Trafalgar Road. Direction signs will be erected for the match.

From M6
-Join the M6 motorway and exit at junction 26 on to the M58 motorway
-Join M58 and exit at junction 3 on to A570 (signposted Southport, Ormskirk).
-Follow A570 through Ormskirk to Southport. 
-Entering Southport on A570 Scarisbrick New Road, turn left at traffic signals on to A5267 Ash Street(signposted Liverpool).
-Follow A5267 straight ahead on to Cemetary Road/Crescent Road going across level crossing on to Grosvenor Road.
-Turn left at junction with Trafalgar Road, the ground is on the left 200 yards along Trafalgar Road.

From Liverpool
-Join A565 (via Bootle) to Southport
-Entering Southport on A565 Waterloo Road, turn right approx 0.5 miles after passing Hillside Rail Station on to Gainsborough Road.
-The ground is directly ahead at the end of Gainsborough Road. 

Car Park
There is no car parking at the ground, and surrounding streets have parking restrictions which we are advised will be closely monitored by wardens. Blue badge holders can park on Trafalgar Road where there are single yellow lines, but they must observe any other restrictions in place. The wardens will, however, enforce the restriction for none badge holders and on all areas which are governed by double yellows (2hrs restriction for blue badges) and where coned.

Parking is available on Birkdale Common, which is adjacent to Royal Birkdale Golf Club on Waterloo Road, approx 400 metres from the ground. SatNav users should use the postcode PR8 2NB.
