James Anderson could be in line for a Roses return at Liverpool following the announcement of England player availability by the ECB

The England pace bowler has been made available for the LV= County Championship matches against Warwickshire at Edgbaston on May 4-7, and the game at Liverpool against Yorkshire on May 18-21.

The following player availability for domestic county fixtures during the period up to 23 May 2011.

Andrew Strauss (Middlesex) - Available for Tour Match against Sri Lanka May 14-16 and LV= County Championship match against Glamorgan May 19-22.

James Anderson (Lancashire) – Available for LV= County Championship matches against Warwickshire May 4-7 and Yorkshire May 18-21.

Ian Bell (Warwickshire) – Available for LV= County Championship matches against Lancashire May 4-7, Worcestershire May 11-14 and Nottinghamshire May 18-21.

Ravi Bopara (Essex) – Currently awaiting results of a scan to rule out a side strain injury, availability to be determined thereafter. 

Tim Bresnan (Yorkshire) – Available for LV= County Championship matches against Hampshire May 11-14 and Lancashire May 18-21. 

Stuart Broad (Nottinghamshire) – Currently unavailable due to side strain, availability subject to completing rehabilitation programme.

Paul Collingwood (Durham) - Availability determined by his recovery and rehabilitation programme following his knee operation in the near future.

Alastair Cook (Essex) – Available for all fixtures during this period.

Steven Finn (Middlesex) – Available for all fixtures during this period (subject to amount of cricket played).

Eoin Morgan (Middlesex) – Currently unavailable due to IPL commitments. Available for LV= County Championship match against Glamorgan May 19-21.

Kevin Pietersen (Surrey) – Currently unavailable. Availability subject to completing rehabilitation programme following his hernia operation.

Matt Prior (Sussex) – Available for LV= County Championship matches against Nottinghamshire May 10-13 and Somerset May 18-21.

Ajmal Shahzad (Yorkshire) – Currently unavailable due to hamstring injury, availability subject to completing rehabilitation programme

Graeme Swann (Nottinghamshire) – Available for LV= County Championship matches against Sussex May 10-13 and Warwickshire May 18-21.

James Tredwell (Kent) – Available for all fixtures during this period.

Chris Tremlett (Surrey) - Available for LV= County Championship matches against Leicestershire May 4-7 and Essex May 18-21.

Jonathan Trott (Warwickshire) – Available for LV= County Championship matches against Lancashire May 4-7, Worcestershire May 11-14 and Nottinghamshire May 18-21.

Luke Wright (Sussex) – Available for all fixtures from April 26.

Michael Yardy (Sussex) – Availability subject to consultation between player, Sussex CCC and England medical staff.
