Report - day 1: Tom Bailey made an early breakthrough when he had Bragg caught at second slip by Agathangelou to make Glamorgan 21-1 in 5th over, but it was to be a day of graft. James edged White to Reece at 1st slip to claim the only other wicket of the morning session and the visitors were 96-2 at lunch.

It was half way through the second session before Griffiths broke the third wicket partnership of Walters and Davies, trapping Walters lbw for 94. McKiernan struck twice in his 16th over, two more lbws’ to leaving Glamorgan on 190-5 at tea.

Rain delayed the restart briefly and the graft continued. White claimed the next wicket in the 80th over, 238-6, but it was the introduction of Agathangelou that brought the next breakthrough with two wickets in his spell before bad light ended play early with Glamorgan 257-8 after 92 overs.

2nd day - Lancashire just missed out the 4th bowling point, Agathangelou dismissing Reed in the 101st over. Bailey trapped last man Reid lbw to end the innings at 306.

Horton departed early in Lancashire's reply but Agathangelou and Reece took the Red Rose to lunch at 78-1 from 14 overs. Agathangelou was stumped for 47 after the break before Davies helped Reece add 51 for the 3rd wicket. Davies had made 21 before being caught on the fine leg boundary, Lancashire now 142-3 in the 34th over. Reece and Livingstone added a further 61 before bad light then rain ended play for the day with Reece on 77 not out and Livingstone 25no. Lancs 203-3 in the 48th over trail by 103 runs.

3rd day - Overnight rain and the wet outfield delayed the start to 12.15pm. When the cricket started Lancashire had an early loss, Livingstone caught behind after adding seven to his overnight score. Lancashire 216-4, still needed 84 in 47 overs for the 4 batting points. Two more wickets either side of lunch make the score 242-6, but Reece steadied the innings with his innings of 143, adding 31 with McKiernan and 28 with Gowers to take the side to 300 and the 4th batting point in the 85th over. When Reece reached his century in the 74th over, he also passed 500 championship runs for the season in his 7th innings.

Lancashire were all out for 337 just after tea, and with the draw the only realistic result in the time left, Glamorgan batted to 4.50pm before the teams shook hands.
