Kyle Hogg was crowned as Lancashire County Cricket Club's Player of the Year at our end of season awards ceremony last night.
The fast bowler was a hugely popular choice and receive a rousing ovation from the audience in The Point.
It has been a memorable season for Hogg, who took 60 Championship wickets including a personal best 7-27, as Lancashire clinched the LV Division 2 crown with a game to spare. Hogg also enjoyed an astonishing day at Chelmsford where he combined with Glen Chapple to bowl out Essex for 20.
Ashwell Prince was the winner of the Hill Dickinson One-Day Player of the Year (accepted by Peter Moores), thanks to some outstanding innings in the YB40 and Friends Life t20.
Prince also claimed the New Balance Champagne Moment of the Year (accepted by Glen Chapple) for his outstanding catch at in the LV=CC Division 2 match against Glamorgan at Colwyn Bay.
Luis Reece's emergence in the first team saw the batsman walk away with the Chewits Young Player of the Year Award.
Reece's strong finish to the season was also celebrated with the 23-year-old being presented with the Optimum Procurement Player of the Month Award.
Presenter Hugh Ferris hosted the event which was sponsored by Thwaites Wainwright.
