Demand Hots Up For Internationals

LANCASHIRE COUNTY Cricket Club will expect to have taken just over 1.5 million in revenue by this weekend for the international matches at Emirates Old Trafford next year.

With Sri Lanka (28 May) and India (7 to 11 August) set to face England in 2014, demand to watch international cricket in the North West of England is continuing to rise.

And cricket supporters, buoyed by the successful staging of the Investec Ashes and NatWest ODI between England and Australia last season, clearly want to come back to the redeveloped and resplendent Emirates Old Trafford next summer.

LCCC Chief Executive Daniel Gidney said: “Since going on general sale a week ago, we have seen an upsurge in sales as spectators clamour to watch England in action in both competitions.

“Sri Lanka are the first visitors in May and Lancashire fans may get to see our new signing Jos Buttler in an England shirt, while later in the summer James Anderson will hopefully be leading the attack when India visit Emirates Old Trafford for the Investec Test.

“We believe our tickets offer exceptional value for money and we recommend supporters to buy them early.”

Tickets start from just 35 for adults (15 for children under the age of 16) for the England V Sri Lanka, Royal London ODI and 45 (20) per day (first three days) and 30 (15) for Day Four for the Investec Test match against India, and can be purchased by calling the Club’s 24-hour ticket line on 08 444 999 666 or by clicking here.

The Club also have some outstanding hospitality packages available to suit everybody. More information can be found by clicking here
