Lancashire's SecondXI have reached the Semi Finals of this year's SecondXI Trophy following their 99-run victory over MCC Young Cricketers at Uxbridge on Tuesday.
This win means Lancashire finished second in the North Group behind Yorkshire and will play Sussex in the Semi-Finals, as they topped the South Group. This fixture will be played on Monday 7th September at Horsham, 10:30am start.
The SecondXI are also currently sitting third in the Second XI County Championship North Divison with a game in hand on those sitting above them (Nottinghamshire and Durham). If Lancashire win one of their remaining two matches, then they will finish top of the Divison and qualify for the Final to be played 16-18 September.
