Great news for fans as Metrolink and Lancashire declare partnership
Following the resounding success of its 2010 partnership, Metrolink has been named the official public transport partner of Lancashire County Cricket Club for the second year running.
The partnership will focus on encouraging young people across the region to become engaged with cricket and get active in the community.
With the Old Trafford tram stop located directly outside the ground, Metrolink makes it easy to get to and from Lancashire County Cricket Club at even the busiest times.
Geoff Durbin, Commercial Director at Lancashire County Cricket Club, is thrilled that the partnership is being renewed. He says: "We are very pleased to be working with Metrolink again. The partnership will ensure passengers from across the network can enjoy cricket all season and save money too; the tram provides great value for money."
It's so simple to take the tram to Lancashire County Cricket Club, you'll be bowled over!
Metrolink offers a selection of tickets that can save you money, including weekly, 4 weekly, quarterly and annual season tickets, plus adult and family weekend saver tickets. All Metrolink tickets can be purchased at tram stop ticket machines.
