Sunrisers clash moved to Emirates Old Trafford
Thunder’s opening home match of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy against Sunrisers has been moved from Sale Cricket Club to Emirates Old Trafford.
The fixture will remain on Wednesday 24 April (10:30am start) but the decision to move venue has been taken to ensure the match has the best possible chance of going ahead.
Following heavy rainfall in the area during the last month, Sale Cricket Club’s outfield remains extremely wet, and any further rain would put the match in extreme doubt.
The Club would like to thank Sale for their hard work and co-operation, and we look forward to working together again later in the season.
All tickets for the fixture remain valid to be used at Emirates Old Trafford.
