Lancashire's 2ndXI won their 40-over friendly against Yorkshire at Liverpool by seven wickets.

Report: Yorkshire started well and raced to 62-0 after 10 overs before the introduction of Arron Lilley changed the game. Lees was the first to go stumped by Alex Davies for 35 in Lilley's first over. The off spinner then took two wickets in 3 balls In his 2nd over, Hodgson and Tattersall both for ducks, leaving Yorkshire 64-3 after 12 overs. A partnership of 75 took Yorkshire to 139-3 before Paul Horton took a sharp catch at mid wicket off Luke Procter as the visitors struggled to 201-8 with the final four wickets shared one each by Lilley, Luis Reece, Procter and Adnan Ghaus.
Davies and Tom Smith started with a rapid reply. When Davies was out for 38 off 21 balls, Lancashire were already 67 after 7 overs. Smith went shortly afterwards for 30 but Horton and Andrea Agathangelou took the game away from Yorkshire adding 104 for the 3rd wicket. Agathangelou went eventually for 55, but Horton remained unbeaten on 70 as Lancashire reached their target with 5 overs to go.
