Main Hall: The main hall has five practice lanes, each with a 20 metre run up for bowlers and 18 metres behind the stumps for wicket keeping practice with cushioned surfaces on all the bowlers’ landing areas. There are three different surfaces to facilitate realistic practice on a variety of wickets; fast, spin and general.
The nets are designed so that as well as having 5 full length nets or an open full hall, it is possible to have a combination of open and closed areas, allowing wicket keepers and fielders to simulate game situations.
Conference Rooms: The Centre has a conference room available -for hire, with concessionary rates available to appropriate groups. The room can accommodate 30 people and is fully equipped with TV, digital projector and flip charts. Refreshments are also available at a reasonable price, which can be ordered in advance.
Networks: ‘Networks’ is a refreshment lounge with Sky Sports channels available to watch. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are also available to purchase from our vending machines. Networks is open to anyone visiting or using the Centre and is also open on LCCC match days for public use.
Balcony: The viewing balcony overlooks the main hall and provides seating for spectators wishing to watch net practice and indoor games.
Changing Facilities: There are four changing rooms available at the Centre, all with disabled access. Lockers are available to store personal belongings whilst using the Centre and are operated with a refundable £1 coin.
