Lancashire received the County Champions pennant today, ahead of their visit to Buckingham Palace.
ECB Chief Executive David Collier handed over the pennant at an official Lord’s Taverners reception for this year’s LV=County Championship title winners. Receving the pennant, which will fly proudly at Old Trafford, are Head Coach Peter Moores and LCCC Chairman Michael Cairns.
The Lancashire party later met HRH, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip at Buckingham Palace where they received their Championship medals, and were officially presented with the County Championship trophy.
We hope to bring images and reaction from Buckingham Palace later.
