Crash! Ooooh! Wheee! Bang!
I was back at Old Trafford on Sunday night for the Fireworks extravaganza, and an extravaganza it certainly was! I normally don’t venture outside for the event because we animals don’t like fireworks but this year I was extra-specially brave. I stayed on the away team balcony to watch the display and was very impressed, especially with how the fireworks went off in time with some of my favourite songs!
There were thousands of people at OT and they seemed to be having lots of fun, not only with the fab fireworks but on the funfair as well. You know how they have signs up saying ‘you have to be this tall to go on the ride’? Well it turns out that you can be too big as well as too small! I wasn’t allowed to go on any of them in case I bumped my head or trapped my hooves. I think that’s called unfair, not funfair!
The lights on the rides did entertain me though and I could have watched some of them go round and round for ages! I also got to meet loads of families who were all wrapped up to keep them warm in the cold. That's one advantage of having a natural fur coat - I don't need to wear any extra layers!
It’s probably the last time you’ll see me out in public this winter but don’t forget that if you want me to come along to your birthday party or event, all you need to do is get in touch with my friend Zoë on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 0161 282 4013.
Thunderbolts, you should receive your membership renewal forms in the post in the next couple of weeks – don’t forget to fill them in so you’re all joined up for another week of fun!
I’ll write again soon, but in the meantime remember to be careful with fireworks and look after yourselves as the nights get darker!
