MUSE announce Old Trafford date

Lancashire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce that the UK's most celebrated live act of the past decade, MUSE, will play Old Trafford on Saturday 4th September, 2010.

MUSE have just completed a sold out UK Arena tour where all 85,000 tickets were snapped up inside 30 minutes, and will return next year for a further two stadium dates – one at Old Trafford, the other at London’s Wembley Stadium.

For MUSE to have chosen Old Trafford for this concert simply reinforces the ground’s reputation as one of the best outdoor concert venues in the UK.  This concert also marks ten consecutive years of concerts at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in conjunction with promoters, SJM Concerts.  During this time, visitors to the venue have enjoyed world-class acts such as Bruce Springsteen, Oasis, Foo Fighters, The Cure, No Doubt, Green Day, Robbie Williams, REM, Radiohead, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys and Take That.

Tickets for the Manchester show go on sale at 9am, Friday 20^th November priced at £45 plus booking fee.

Tickets are limited to six per applicant and under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
