LANCASHIRE COUNTY Cricket Club's first team players received a pre-season boost to their winter training routine after the Club's Indoor Cricket Centre took delivery of some brand new nets.
Produced by Edwards Sports, the new nets have already brightened up the Cricket Centre as Peter Moores’ men put in the hard yards ahead of the new campaign which gets underway in April.
Adrian Jones, the Indoor Cricket Centre Manager, said: “The installation was scheduled around the team’s pre-season training sessions and only took three days to complete, with the result dramatically improving the look of the centre.
“It’s really brightened the centre up and the fresh look is perfect timing for ensuring the best facilities are available to the team as they prepare for next season.”
But it’s not just the Lancashire players who will benefit from the improvements, the Indoor Cricket Centre provides a whole array of courses throughout the year for players of all abilities, attracting players from across the surrounding region.
“We are also freshening up the activities on offer, with a range of new courses running throughout the 2013 season for players of all abilities," he added.
Whether you are a child who is just starting to learn the game, a club player looking to improve your batting technique or a county age group player, the Indoor Cricket Centre has a course to suit all.
