CEMENT YOUR NAME IN OLD TRAFFORD
The LCCC Foundation is offering supporters the chance to cement your name into Lancashire folklore by having your name on permanent display at Old Trafford on the Red Rose Wall.

The Red Rose Wall Appeal is launched EXCLUSIVELY to Lancashire CCC Members from Monday 28th November until Tuesday 3rd January 2012. Members will be able to have their name, or that of a family member or friend, engraved on a stone at Old Trafford for perpetuity.

You can also put your own message on the stone……

Stones are available on limited release on a first come first served basis.

LEGENDS PANEL
In the centre of the Red Rose Wall will be Legends Panel, a section dedicated to those who have secured legend status at Old Trafford. You could have your name alongside such names as Brian Statham, Cyril Washbrook, Andrew Flintoff, Neil Fairbrother and 12 other Lancashire greats whose names will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Laying the foundation for an exciting future!

With Old Trafford soon to become one of the most state-of-the-art sports stadiums in the country, there is an equally exciting development coming out of the home of the Red Rose with the formation of the LCCC Foundation.

What is the LCCC Foundation?

LCCC not only has a responsibility for its staff, members, supporters and partners, but also a social responsibility for our community here in Trafford and also the wider region of the North West.

Therefore, the LCCC Foundation will now be the arm of the Club which will engage with the local community.

Some of the areas of work the Foundation will lead on include: the President’s Appeal, Healthy Lifestyles, Education and Training, Heritage, Fundraising, Community Projects and Youth Cricket (through the Lancashire Cricket Board).

Going forward, the Foundation will also enable Lancashire County Cricket Club to do even more work in the community by primarily helping the Club to apply for and attract funding from other sources which would otherwise be impossible.

Launch
The official launch of the LCCC Foundation took place prior to the Natwest International t20 clash between England versus India on the 31st August 2011. Andrew Flintoff and James Anderson were on hand to mark the occasion pitchside at Old Trafford in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

Ambassadors
James Anderson was unveiled as the first official Ambassador for the LCCC Foundation. Cameron Foster has also been named as the first Young Ambassador, with other sporting heroes being sought to act as Ambassadors in the near future, including a high profile footballer.

Red Rose Wall
The Foundation will be offering Members the chance to cement their name into Lancashire folklore with the launch of the Red Rose Wall. The Red Rose wall appeal will enable Lancashire Members and supporters to have their name engraved on a stone at Old Trafford for perpetuity. With funds being donated to the LCCC Foundation, your donations will be supporting the important community and cricket grass-roots development work of the club.

The scheme is being launched exclusively to LCCC Members on the 28th November 2011 and are on limited release, on a first come first served basis.

Replica stones will also be available and everyone donating to the scheme will receive a certificate detailing their purchase and inscription. The wall will be built in the new Pavilion with a completion date of spring 2013.

Red Rose Wall – The Story

We want to give cricket fans and those with an affinity to Old Trafford the opportunity to be part of Old Trafford’s history, and in doing so, create a lasting legacy in the newly developed home of Lancashire County Cricket Club. The Red Rose Wall gives you the chance to take your place amongst legends and fellow fans.

A wall of Red Granite stones of various sizes personalised with messages will form part of the newly built Pavilion, due to be completed in the Spring of 2013 – before the Ashes!

Not only will the stones enhance the look of the stadium and created a striking feature, but ultimately, the profits from donations will generate necessary funding for the LCCC Foundation which aims to inspire communities through cricket.

We are creating a piece of history by giving cricket, sport and music fans the chance to become part of the newly developed stadium at Old Trafford.

A location has been identified with the new, soon to be built, Pavilion, where the panels of engraved stones will be installed. The central Legends Panel will honour the greatest Lancashire Legends, both old and new.
