Welcome to the Indoor Cricket Centre

About us

The Cricket Centre was opened in April 1997 as a state of the art indoor facility for cricket and is used extensively by the Lancashire CCC players, particularly during their pre-season training.  Players of all ages and abilities throughout the North West of England and beyond can access a variety of activities that have been designed to offer the most up-to-date coaching and practice sessions.

The variety of activities available cover all aspects of the game, from a basic introduction to the game for junior players within our Recreational Courses, to our Development Courses which have been designed to focus on specific areas of the game for the more advanced players. 

The nets are available to clubs to hire, for individual or group adult and junior practice, cricket birthday parties and holiday activities.  We also offer one-to-one coaching lessons for players aged nine or over and group coaching sessions with our specialist ECB-qualified coaches for adults and juniors over the age of three.

The Centre’s facilities are also utilised by the LCB for running the coach education programme for aspiring coaches, school six-a-side schools competitions and the Lancashire Age Group Squads.

There are conference rooms available to hire, which seat up to 30 people and for players or parents wanting to relax our Networks lounge is fitted with Sky Sports TV.

Opening Hours

The Centre is open throughout the whole year, Monday to Sunday 9am – 10pm, except during Test Matches and One Day Internationals.

The Centre will continue to close after the last booking of each day, so please ensure that any bookings for the weekend are made between Monday and Friday from 9am – 5pm.
