With facilities that have already been praised in the press after its opening for the England versus South Africa t20 fixture in September 2012, this modern facility offers incredible business options, with meeting and event space in a truly unique setting.
Many of the suites boast panoramic views overlooking the famous Emirates Old Trafford pitch, an inspirational setting that will be sure to bowl your guests over. Centrally located with complimentary on-site car parking, Emirates Old Trafford is the perfect venue for those planning a meeting, presentation, interviews or product launch.
Below is a breakdown of the facilities in the Players and Media Centre.
Players’ Dining Room
The players’ dining room is a fantastic space with panoramic views overlooking the Emirates Old Trafford pitch. Modern in design, this is a versatile suite that can accommodate groups of up to 60. The suite is ideal to use on its own or as a syndicate room for larger meetings. The suite also boasts a built in LCD projector, screen & 42” plasma.
Press Lounge
The Press Lounge is a great flexible space that can be used as one large room seating up to 100 people, or can be partitioned to create two smaller spaces called Press Lounge East and Press Lounge West. When partitioned, the spaces each accommodate between 40 to 50 delegates.
Windows run along one side of the suite, allowing plenty of light into the room, however, there is added benefit with each window being fitted with a blackout blind. With a built in screen and LCD projector, the Press Lounge offers the perfect environment for focused working.
In-Vision Studios
There are a total of three in-vision studios each boasting fantastic views of the pitch. Sleek and contemporary in design, these suites are ideal for smaller board meetings for up to ten or syndicate workshops.
Commentary Studios
Situated on the third floor of the Players and Media Centre, the commentary studios are the perfect setting for smaller meetings. Alternatively, these can be used as syndicate rooms in conjunction with a larger meeting or ideal for one-on-one interviews. Each studio has a view overlooking the cricket pitch, allowing you to meet with your guests in the same rooms utilised in the summer by former Lancashire favourites turned commentators, such as Michael Atherton and David Lloyd.
Radio Rooms
Filled with daylight, the radio rooms are ideal to use as small breakout areas alongside a larger meeting. Seating a maximum of four in a boardroom style, our radio rooms are also the perfect choice for holding those all-important interviews or more intimate meetings.
Press Gallery
The Press Gallery is situated on the second floor and offers an unrivalled view of the pristine playing surface, a view that was labelled as one of the best in cricket last September. Tiered auditorium seating is offered for up to 110 delegates and also incorporates six built in plasma TVs. This is an ideal choice for lecture theatre styled events.
