Player Profile

Gennaro Reddy is a right-handed opening batsman and right arm leg spin bowler. Gennaro currently plays his club cricket at Toft CC, as well as previously playing for other clubs such as Congleton CC and Sandworthfield CC.

Before joining Lancashire in 2023, Reddy had been involved in the Cheshire cricket pathways and youth set up since a young age.

During his time at Sandbach CC Reddy picked up his career best figures of 5-17. This spell of bowling was made even more impressive as he was the only bowler on both sides to retain an economy on a of under 3 on a pitch which proved favourable for the batsmen.

With the bat Reddy plays in a stylish manner with extravagant stroke play, this has resulted in him accumulating runs for all the teams he has played in. Reddy played in the 2022 Bunbury tournament where he impressed, hitting an unbeaten 54* and 34* in match-winning innings.
